The carbon intake Eventuri for Porsche 991.1 GT3 RS and 991.2 GT3 RS was designed to offer a more direct and less restrictive air path to the engine compared to the factory airbox. The intake uses two airboxes with a patented shape, which house unique filter elements. The total air capacity has been increased, as has the airflow through the intake ducting. The filter elements have an outer diameter of 192 mm and each offers a filtration area of 110000 mm². Thanks to the real carbon housing, the intake also provides perfect protection against the ingress of hot air. The result is higher vehicle power and especially faster response to throttle input.
The Eventuri direct intake system for Porsche 991.1/991.2 GT3 RS contains a number of components that were developed for this specific vehicle model and manufactured with maximum care so that the kit meets the highest standards.
The basis of the Eventuri intake for Porsche 991.1/991.2 GT3 RS is a dual carbon airbox with a patented shape. The airbox also incorporates two highly permeable dry Eventuri filters, aluminium flanges and a laser-cut metal bracket. The airboxes taper smoothly from their inlet towards the engine, thanks to which the intake air gradually accelerates from the filter element towards the engine.
To ensure maximum airflow and the required filtration capacity, the Eventuri intake for 991.1 GT3 RS and 991.2 GT3 RS uses dry conical filter elements with an outer diameter of 192 mm, which in combination with a 4" outlet can provide a flow of up to 25485 l/min. The filtration capabilities correspond to the ISO standard for factory air filters. The filters are finished with a metal cap shaped so as to maximise the use of the Eventuri airbox shape.
Both airboxes are enclosed by carbon air inlets. These direct the intake air from the factory intakes on the sides of the car into the individual airboxes. The enclosure of the airboxes in combination with the carbon housing used ensures maximum protection against the ingress of hot air into the intake. Each air inlet is attached to the airbox at three points and sealed with a neoprene gasket. The inlets are as large as the engine bay allows in order to bring the maximum possible volume of air to the filters.
